Remote Monitoring and Data Acquisition Solution for the Cement Industry

Published: 2026-06-27 10:42:41

Cement equipment such as pulpers, mixers, grout pumps, and slurry storage tanks are widely used in highway, railway, airport, water conservancy, and building construction projects. The quality of cement grouting directly impacts the overall quality of the project. To enable both on-site monitoring and remote supervision of cement operations—ensuring safe and efficient production—WideIOT provides a robust and reliable solution.

Our solution connects PLCs and sensors to WideIOT industrial gateways, bringing cement equipment online for centralized management. It captures and processes key data points including grouting time, pressure, and flow rate. This data can be displayed on local HMI touchscreens for on-site interaction, while also enabling remote monitoring and control via mobile or PC platforms. The result is an information-driven cement operation management system that achieves three core objectives: preventive control in advance, real-time oversight during operations, and post-process analysis.

System Capabilities

1. Real-Time Monitoring – Through touchscreen HMIs or cloud platforms, operators and managers can view real-time operating status and key parameters of all grouting equipment, with quick access to historical data via reports and dashboards.

2. Automated Alerts – Intelligent alarm rules trigger instant notifications via WeChat, SMS, email, and other channels, enabling rapid detection and resolution of potential issues to safeguard both personnel and site safety.

3. Equipment Management – The cloud-based platform provides remote visibility into all connected grouting machines, including equipment details, type, quantity, status, and alerts, with the ability to edit and update information as needed.

4. Project Management – Users can manage and track individual construction projects—viewing project names, associated clients, runtime data, and other relevant details—with flexible editing capabilities.

5. Data Analytics – By conducting in-depth analysis of collected data—such as operational efficiency, failure rates, and energy consumption—users can optimize grouting parameters, ultimately improving construction quality and productivity.
