Currently, with the continuous growth in the number of new energy vehicle users, the infrastructure of charging piles is also being continuously supplemented to cover a wider range and meet more demands. Compared to outdoor decentralized charging pile networks, charging piles in shopping malls face challenges such as slow maintenance response, numerous safety hazards, and high management difficulty due to factors like dense parking spaces, frequent usage, and complex environments.

To address these issues, an increasing number of shopping mall management entities are starting to introduce intelligent operation and maintenance management systems. By leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology, they can achieve real-time monitoring and remote maintenance of charging piles. WideIOT deploys industrial data acquisition gateways to stably connect to devices such as charging pile electricity meters, voltage and current sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, fire smoke detectors, and video surveillance cameras. It collects real-time data on the operating status, charging power, voltage and current, ambient temperature and humidity, on-site video, and fault alarms of charging piles, thereby constructing a centralized and visualized operation and maintenance management system for charging piles. This enables intelligent collaborative management among people, vehicles, charging piles, and the site, significantly enhancing maintenance efficiency and safety management levels.

Functional Features

Unified Access and Centralized Management of Charging Pile Data across Multiple Floors and Areas

The system supports the unified access and centralized management of charging pile data from multiple floors and areas. It displays the location distribution, usage status, occupancy, and power information of charging piles in real-time through a visual data dashboard. Management personnel can check the operating status of all charging piles in the mall at any time via mobile phones or computers. It also supports functions such as guiding users to available charging piles and reservation management, enhancing user experience and management efficiency.

Built-in Safety Warning Mechanism

The system incorporates a built-in safety warning mechanism that pre-sets safety thresholds for key parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and smoke. If any abnormal data is detected, an alarm is triggered immediately, and relevant personnel are notified in real-time via WeChat, SMS, email, and other means. Alarm information is automatically summarized and generated into reports, supporting filtering and querying by time, area, and fault type to facilitate rapid location and handling.

Information-based Operation and Maintenance Management Platform

Based on an information-based operation and maintenance management platform, the system enables the online creation, dispatch, handling, review, and closed-loop management of maintenance work orders. All remote operations are recorded in the work order logs, including the operator, time, content, and results, ensuring traceability of the maintenance process and clear accountability, thereby enhancing the standardization of maintenance operations.

Persistent Storage and Multi-dimensional Analysis of Data

The platform provides persistent storage and multi-dimensional analysis of operating data, alarm records, and work order execution status of charging piles. It automatically generates data dashboards such as energy consumption analysis reports, fault statistics reports, and operation and maintenance efficiency assessments. Management personnel can rely on these data insights to optimize the layout of charging piles, adjust maintenance strategies, and allocate resources reasonably, achieving refined operation and cost control.
