A scenic park has deployed several autonomous road sweepers to carry out automatic cleaning tasks. However, in actual management, several challenges have emerged: on the one hand, the sweepers operate in different areas, making it difficult for managers to track each vehicle’s realtime location, working status, and remaining battery power. On the other hand, when a sweeper malfunctions, there is no timely way to report the fault to maintenance personnel, leading to repair delays that disrupt normal cleaning operations and ultimately affect environmental hygiene quality.
To address these issues, WideIOT deploys industrial intelligent gateways that connect to vehicle controllers, GPS modules, and various sensors. These gateways collect realtime data on vehicle location, operating status, battery parameters, and alarm signals, then transmit the data over 4G networks to a remote monitoring and management platform. This enables remote monitoring, anomaly alerts, online management, and data analysis, providing comprehensive and reliable data support for vehicle maintenance and dispatch.
Managers can view the realtime location of each sweeper on an electronic map within the monitoring and management center. They can also replay the vehicle’s historical routes, allowing for better route planning and improved cleaning efficiency.
The system displays the working status of each sweeper in real time. When an anomaly is detected, the system immediately triggers alerts via WeChat, SMS, or email, reminding managers to take quick action.
Visual reports are generated to track equipment online rates, working hours, alarm frequency, and other metrics. By leveraging data analysis, managers can continuously improve operational strategies, enhance work efficiency, and raise management standards.
