Distributed energy systems, such as photovoltaic power stations and energy storage power stations, are characterized by diverse equipment, wide distribution, and large amounts of data. Traditional manual meter reading or local monitoring models suffer from issues such as data lag, inefficient management, and difficulties in optimization. WideIOT combines edge computing with cloud collaboration technology to construct a full-link energy data acquisition and control system, enabling refined management and intelligent operation and maintenance of distributed energy.

Solution Architecture

Terminal Equipment Layer

Field equipment includes various energy devices such as photovoltaic inverters, smart meters, and battery management systems (BMS). These devices support transmission formats based on protocols such as IEC61850, IEC101/103/104, DLT645, and Modbus. Additionally, they employ sensor blocks to monitor key parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and light intensity in real time.

Edge Processing Layer

Relying on WideIOT's industrial intelligent gateways, this layer connects to various energy devices to implement edge computing functions such as data filtering, aggregation, and alarm threshold determination. It also establishes real-time communication networks by connecting to remote monitoring and management platforms via 5G/4G and other means, providing comprehensive and reliable data source support for various applications.

Cloud Application Layer

This layer primarily utilizes enterprise-built cloud platforms or third-party platforms such as Alibaba Cloud and Huawei Cloud. It can receive and parse gateway data to enable visual management functions such as remote monitoring, fault alarms, operation and maintenance management, energy consumption statistics, power generation efficiency analysis, and charging and discharging strategy optimization, thereby promoting management upgrades.

  2. Flexible Networking: The gateway supports multiple communication methods such as 5G/4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. For remote photovoltaic power stations and other scenarios without network access, data can be remotely transmitted via 4G/5G without distance limitations.

  3. Security and Reliability: TLS encryption and access control list (ACL) technologies are employed to ensure the security of data transmission. Additionally, functions such as breakpoint resumption and multi-network backup are included to prevent data loss due to accidental disconnections.
