With the continuous development of urbanization, sewage reuse treatment plants play an increasingly important role, offering significant economic and environmental benefits.

 However, traditional equipment management models heavily rely on manual labor, resulting in high costs. Additionally, the dispersed locations of these plants make timely maintenance challenging, and the poor information infrastructure of the equipment not only increases the pressure on sewage treatment operations but also affects the quality of sewage treatment.

In response to these challenges, WideIOT provides a solution for remote monitoring and maintenance of sewage treatment equipment based on industrial IoT gateways.

 The industrial IoT gateway enables all-weather automated data collection and real-time communication, allowing for real-time monitoring of the operational status and process parameters of water treatment equipment. In case of abnormal failures, alarm notifications are received promptly, enabling timely management and control to maintain a safe and stable production order and ensure that the indicators of reused sewage meet the standards.

System Functions

1. Unified Management of Dispersed Sites: Users can create and edit data dashboards to achieve centralized and data-driven display of multiple devices, including reports, bar charts, pie charts, line charts, radar charts, videos, and maps.

2. Remote PLC Maintenance: Supports remote diagnosis, programming, debugging, and program uploading/downloading for PLCs located in different places. It is compatible with mainstream PLC brands such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, Delta, and Inovance.

3. Real-time Data Collection: Continuously collects data on sewage treatment volume, water quality, liquid level, power consumption, and the working current and status of power devices such as fans, lift pumps, return pumps, and suction pumps for each piece of equipment.

4. Alarm Notifications: In case of equipment failures or data exceeding standards, alarm notifications are sent promptly via WeChat, SMS, email, and other methods to the operations and maintenance team or responsible personnel, along with generating alarm events and maintenance work orders.

5. Real-time Video Surveillance: Aggregates video streams from multiple sewage treatment stations to enable real-time video monitoring of multiple sites, providing a comprehensive understanding of the equipment and personnel conditions within the entire sewage treatment plant.

6. Multi-network Backup and Data Continuity: The gateway features multi-network backup and断点续传 (resume from breakpoint) capabilities.

    When the network is unstable, the gateway automatically switches to a high-quality network. Once the network is restored, the gateway automatically resends data to the platform to ensure data continuity and integrity.

7. Remote Control: Administrators can remotely send instructions to PLCs to control the start/stop and on/off of pumps, fans, and valves based on operational conditions, improving response capabilities and management levels.
